I did my summer at Brown University, one of the members of the Ivy League. Quite a title … yes? I’d say yes but on a lighter note; there seems to be something racist about the name, due to the skin colour of we… Indians. 😉
I think this would be considered an adventure because of my trip to the USA to study for summer school! I took up a summer course at Brown to experience the education style as well as take a look at an American university.
Words that I can use to describe the place would seem odd to me … it was peaceful, but seems to be a puzzle. I felt like I were in a school, park, store, museum and a theater at the same time. It was an interesting combination for working mornings, sleepy afternoons and dramatic nights to finish the day. My course covered writing essays in the morning and free time in the afternoon and plays in a theater in the evening.
At Brown, I explored the left side of my brain and the arts side of my mind when I was writing about Sci-Fi, chilling with friends who I would cherish forever and appreciating other forms of art. I would have never have thought I would like plays that too in 360 degrees, needing high level of acting skills indeed.
